B.C. Parents Still Missing Out on Hundreds of Thousands in Free Money

Don’t miss out on free money for your child’s education (click on article below)!

Many parents in B.C. are unaware of the B.C. Training and Education Savings Grant (BCTESG) that is available for children born in 2006 and later.

The grant is $1,200 and there is no requirement to match the government grant or to continue to contribute.

All parents have to do is open an RESP account then apply for the free $1,200 grant.

To be eligible for the $1,200 BCTESG:

  • The child must be born in 2006 or later – once they turn six parents can apply.
  • The parent and the child must be residents of British Columbia.
  • The child must be the beneficiary of an RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan)

The deadline for parents of children born in 2006 to apply for the BCTESG is August 14th, 2019.
